The gap that loses sales
Most Gulf shoppers discover you on their phone, late, and ask first: price, delivery, availability. If nothing answers, they move to the next store that does. The sale is rarely lost on price — it is lost on silence.
That is the whole case for automation: not replacing your team, but answering the first question before the customer leaves.
What auto-replies actually do
A greeting that names the business and the hours. An FAQs menu for the questions everyone asks — delivery areas, payment options, returns. Keyword replies that send the price list when someone types “price” and the catalogue when they type “new”.
Done well, the reply qualifies the buyer too: what they want, how many, where they are. By the time your team opens the chat, the conversation is already halfway to an order.
What they do not do
They do not close the sale, negotiate, or handle complaints. The rule we build to is simple: automation answers, humans sell. Every auto-reply ends with a clear path to a person.
If a customer is angry, confused, or ready to pay a large amount, the chat goes to your team immediately. Automation that traps people is worse than no automation.
How to start
Set up the WhatsApp Business profile properly first — description, hours, catalogue link. Then write down the five questions you answer every day, and build replies for those five only.
Launch with that, watch the chats for a week, and add replies only for questions that actually repeat. That is how our builds do it, and it is how we recommend you do it too.
